  • This apparatus is designed to show an electric arc that rises between two vertical conducting bars which are placed close together at the bottom and narrow at the top. Once the arc reaches the top of the ladder , it vanishes and another is generated at the bottom and the cycle repeats.
  • Electrodes are contained in a polycarbonate tube. Minimal current is applied. Approximate voltage between the electrodes is 15,000 volts.
  • Internal power supply is built into the base; power cord is included.
  • Total apparatus stands 20" tall and is 6.5" wide. Tube is 15" long with a 2.5" diameter.
